Performances of Handel’s Messiah by the Handel Society of Dartmouth College were periodic, whereas Handel Choir of Baltimore & Handel Period Instrument Orchestra presented it annually.

The French Connection. Fauré Requiem (sung in French-Latin pronunciation) and Cantique de Jean Racine, L. Boulanger Pie Jesu, Poulenc Litanies à la Vierge Noire and Ave verum corpus, and Bernstein Chichester Psalms with chamber orchestra. Grace Methodist Church, May 6, 2006.

Bach Fest with Chandos Singers. BWV 227 Jesu, meine Freude and Cantata BWV 55 for tenor solo, Ich armer Mensch, ich Sündenknecht and the Wedding Cantata BWV 196 Der Herr denket an uns. Featuring guest soloists Clara Rottsolk, soprano, Tony Boutté, tenor, John Bradford Bohl, countertenor, Stephen Bard, baroque oboe, and Colin St. Martin, baroque flute. Boston Vocal Artists’ Sonique (2003-2005)

Poulenc Un soir de neige, Milhaud Naisssance de Vénus, Saint-Saëns Op. 68 Deux Chœurs, and a generous sampling of rarely heard Berlioz solos, vocal chamber works and choruses. *Performances by Dartmouth College ensembles were in Spaulding Auditorium or Rollins Chapel unless otherwise noted. All choral-orchestral works were performed with the Hanover Chamber Orchestral unless otherwise noted.

Handel Society & Concertato Singers: Berlioz Roméo et Juliette dramatic symphony with the Hanover Chamber Orchestra and guest soloists David Arnold, Erma Gattie, and Ryan Turner. March 1, 2003.

Handel Society Concert tour to Germany and Austria. In addition to giving concerts and singing for worship services, performed Schubert Mass in E-flat jointly with the Schwenningen Bach-Chor (orchestra and chorus) and the Pinkham Christmas Cantata with the German-American Choir of Munich (with brass double quartet). December 10-23, 2002.

Handel Society performances of Vaughan Williams Hodie; Haydn Missa in Angustiis (“Lord Nelson” Mass); Brahms four-voice lieder, Op. 64 and 92; Pärt Te Deum (2000-2001).

Tours

Chamber Singers seven international concert tours during spring breaks (1981-1996) to England, Italy, Spain, Germany-Austria.

Two Handel Society 14-day concert tours to Germany and Austria by Handel Society (1999 and 2002).

Collaboration of Handel Society and New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra, concerts in Manchester and Hanover, NH.  I conducted Poulenc Gloria and Brahms Schicksalslied and prepared the chorus for Mahler Symphony No. 2, James Bolle conducting (1994).

Tour to New York City with Handel Society and Concertato Singers: two performances in Carnegie Hall and a Carol Sing performance at St. Paul the Apostle Church at Lincoln Center including final chorus of Berlioz L’enfance du Christ, John Kornet, tenor (1991).

Handel Society Tour to Toronto International Choral Festival for two performances of Stravinsky Symphony of Psalms; Concertato Singers performed Bach Jesu meine Freude (1989).

Concertato Singers perform Gershwin Porgy and Bess Suite (1989) and Magic Flute (1987) with the New Hampshire Music Festival, Plymouth, NH.

Guest Conductor, Northeast regional première of McCullough The Song of the Shulamite, Albany Pro Musica, Albany, NY (2013).

Guest Conductor, American Opera Theatre, Baltimore MD, in collaborations with Handel Choir of Baltimore for staged performances of Handel Jephtha (2010), Purcell Dido and Aeneas, Dunphy Gonzales Cantata (2011).
